Torrentspy Source: Check Digg

Apparently the MPAA has contacted both ISOhunt and Torrentspy to do something about logging people’s IPs. Unfortunately, torrentspy is going to log IP addresses, but ISOhunt is not since they follow Canadian laws where privacy is probably first priority. Yet, ISOhunt mentions that people are not completely safe on their main site and sister sites, because p2p activity can be monitored due to BT’s state of nature. To avoid dumb mistakes, use protowall or peerguardian and use one’s best judgment. It is none of these site providers’ responsibility for any lawsuits against the people who use their site.
