COD4 Modern Warfare Keygen, Level 55 Hack- unlock all guns.
[Update: 1-5-09] Due to Underground proactiveness, Chyea has re-done the video tutorial to lay down the hellfire that this hack does work. All you non-believers, watch the video and cleanse your eyes. If you cannot accept the fact that this hack work,s then you need to re-evaluate your own method.
“Call of Duty 4 makes you unlock weapons, weapon attachments and mods, camouflage, and challenges. Well there is a way around that because all of the data is stored client-side. To unlock all weapons for Call of Duty 4 multiplayer so that you don’t have to level up follow these easy instructions.
- Download this mpdata file.
- Go to Start -> Run-> Type regedit -> Hit Enter.
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Activision -> Call of Duty 4
- Double-click codkey
- Save the key in notepad
- Replace the key with: DL2J8PY44Q22GE4888D2
- Press OK and close regedit.
- Navigate to your Call of Duty 4 profile folder (typically “C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare\players\profiles\your_user_name”)
- Back-up and then remove all the files in your user name folder.
- Place the mpdata file you downloaded in your user name folder
- Open the COD4 MP game and check your rank. You should now be level 55 with all challenges, guns, and every camouflage unlocked!
- Finally, in the game go to Options -> Multiplayer Options -> Key Code and type your original cd key you have saved in notepad.
- IMPORTANT: you MUST join a server after the above step, stay in it for a couple of minutes so that the new cdkey will be encrypted onto your profile.
There you go, you now have everything unlocked. Enjoy.”
Note: if you’re using Windows XP, when choosing to save the mpdata file, make sure you put quotation marks -> “mpdata” as the file name. Otherwise XP will save it as a default txt(I think) format.
Note: if you are using a 64 bit OS, the registry path for the cdkey is as follows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE —> SOFTWARE —> Wow6432Node —> Activision —> Call of Duty 4

Also, to play COD4 in a window, add this to the shortcut: +r_fullscreen “0″
when i go to the install directory (C > prog files > activision > cod4 modern warfare) there is no “player” folder. i tried making one, then putting a “profiles” folder inside that one, then then made a “username” (with my username of course) folder inside of that one. then i put the mpdata file in that folder. still doesn’t work.
any help plz?
nvm i got it. you gotta use this path for vista:

make sure you show hidden files (under control panel > folder options)

lost my hard drive this week, relaoaded COD4 and, of course, was really pissed to realize all my hard work was lost (I was at Lv38).
while most were similar to yours, they ALL left out the CRITICAL quotation marks around the mpdata file.

hey, I used that thing to put COD4 not in fullscreen, it worked.
But now, I deleted the part i added to the shortcut, but COD4 still doesn’t play in fullscreen no more… what must I do?
No idea, reverse the steps you did.

r_fullscreen is an identifier for a parameter. Its values are either “0″ or “1″. If you set it to “0″, it will obviously set the game in windowed mode.
To change it back to full screen, simply put “+r_fullscreen 1″ at the end of your shortcut argument.
Alternatively, you can also bring up console in game, and type “/r_fullscreen 1″.
Whichever one you prefer, whatever floats your boat.
mine keeps saying ** error occured could not read stats – stats reset
You need to join a server right after the new key is put in, before you close your game.

Followed instructions exactly, having done this before, still get error:
“error occured could not read stats – stats reset”
right when I start the game. I look in the game at my CD key and it still says my default key.
It looks like as of now this hole is plugged boys and girls.
Just tried again to make sure I wasn’t being a retard. This time it didn’t give me the error code, but it states I am lvl 1 and no unlocks in my ranks and challenges. So yes it is still plugged.
Your rank, class setup and statistic is stored in a file called mpdata. This file is located in your players folder:
XP: [X:\*YourCOD4Directory*\players]
Vista: [C:\Users\*YourVistaAccount*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players]
Theres also a seperate mpdata file for every mod in …\players\mods\*modname*.
This file is linked to the cd key you used to install cod4 (or a cd key you entered in the multiplayer options).
You can find your cd key here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Activision/Call of Duty 4/codkey
COD4 always reads your rank, class setup and statistic from the correct mpdata file if you only have one copy of COD4 installed.
If your playing on a server running a mod you have a different rank than on a normal ranked server.
As mawarico said: Enter a COD4 lobby. Click “Settings” in the lower right hand corner. Enter the correct path to the iw3mp.exe in the “Executable Settings” field. Then use the “Start Game” button to start the game. Enter the game browser. Switch Source to “Local”. Then pick a server from the list.
If the server is a ranked server you should have your level 30+. Ranked servers are marked with an “x” in the column with the Infinity Ward logo on top (the icon looking like a graphic of an atom with the path of its electrons around it).
If you cant play with your old rank, have a look in your players folder. If theres a file called mpdata.corrupt there was an error writing your mpdata file and your rank is lost.
If there isn’t the file mpdata.corrupt in your players folder then backup your players folder and cd key. Afterwards reinstall cod4 and patch 1.6 + 1.7 (use the cd key and players folder from the backup).
I have no activision folder under software in HKEY LOCAL MACHINE… what sould I do?

Ok I got it thanks. Now, my problem is that it says “the key is already in use. please log in later” or something ( I use the french client, so thats the translation I made of the message). Did I do something wrong?
That happens when I try to join a server btw, and im still level 1 with nothing unlock.

Hey you guys if u cant find an activision folder in REGEDIT, just simply do a search in REGEDIT for CODKEY. It will find it and take you to the relevant path.
Hi, I’ve done this already a couple of times when I had vista, I just CLEAN installed Windows 7 and now I cant make it work. I actually find the mpdata here: C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare\players\profiles (using UAC) but where i REPLACE the mpdata and go inside the game a ERROR occurs and then when I go back to the mpdata directory (the one above) there is a mpdatacorrupt file. Any suggestions?

You usually get a corrupt mpdata file when you didn’t do the first step, which is changing your cdkey to the one that’s posted.
Just my guess, can’t be certain though.
