[TiT] That’s It Tuesday! – Issue 7

Hi underground visitors! Welcome to the seventh issue of TIT, or That’s It Tuesday! Every Tuesday, I, Versatile1, will give you a rant of whats going on in the blog, whats intended for the future, hope, dreams, etc.

Wow, can you believe it, I have been doing this weekly update for 7 weeks in a row now? Where has the time gone? Anyway, we have had close contenders in toppling our 2,036 viewing visits since our last TiT update, but nothing close. Oh well, maybe soon we will have another crazy article that will bring in a broader, more sophisticated audience. 🙂

As you may or may not know, big games have come out already for PC, and for some of the consoles already. Games being: Hellgate London, Crysis, UT3, Call of Duty 4, Timeshift, and Assassin’s Creed. The problem: Too many games, not enough time to play!

Using Portal thread as a prime example, our goal is to provide something similar to what we did for Portal: Give an overview of a game, and discreetly help you on your journey to play the game. I am looking at Crysis, and Call of Duty 4, and perhaps UT3. We shall see. I have asked Voltaire to take the lead on this, but whether he does it or not is his prerogative. Please post a comment here if you demand these articles to be made.

Now this week being Thanksgiving holidays in the United States, that means great sales on Friday, or “Black Friday”. If you go to http://www.bfads.net, they have ad scans of some of the most popular stores such as Target, Best Buy, and Circuit City. Are you looking for a new MP3 player this Xmas? How about a brown 30 gig Zune? 79.99 at Toys R Us, and 89.99 at Radioshack. I think I may try to get one. I will most likely go to Radioshack, who would think Radioshack is going to be popular on Friday morning? I could envision the hilarity. Watch:

Versatile1: Hey Voltaire, you going Black Friday shopping?

Voltaire: Ah hell yes. I’m going to Circuit City and snag me some stellar HDTV deals! How about you?

Versatile1: Oh, sick. I’m going straight to Radioshack and get me a Zune.

Voltaire: (disgust) Um, WTF? You wake up early on Black Friday to go to Walmart, Target, a Toys R Us even, but a Radioshack? It’s a frickin small store for gosh sakes. You’re messed up man.

Versatile1: I admit, I would go to Toys R Us since the Zune is $10 cheaper there, but imagine the parking issue! At Radioshack, there will be hardly anyone there (I hope). I’m going to buy my Zune within 5 minutes, and stop by your house. By that time, you are probably still out stuck in traffic, and while you are gone, I am going to lubricate on your dog. Muahaha.

Voltaire: (Smacks forehead) Ah c’mon, not the Transformers thing again. What’s wrong with you? Lol. You noob, TRU is right in front of my house! MUHAHAHA
