Microsoft Touch OS

After months and months of secrecy surrounding the upcoming version of Windows from Microsoft, Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates are finally came out and showed off parts of the developing operating system.

One of the more enticing features is the multi-touch capability that we’ve seen in Microsoft Surface Computing.

    I have no proof for this claim, so correct me if I’m wrong. But isn’t that basically what Apple are working on too?

  2. windows 7 kickass. love the layout and the multitouch feature. when is it gonna be officialy released.

  3. Microsoft says it’ll be late 2009 or early 2010, but with the amount of delays that Vista went through, don’t be too optimistic about it.

  4. The new OS is only for what appears to be touch screened type devices. My computer is not going to be touchscreen, so I bet in 2009 or 2010 I will still be using XP.
