[TiT] That’s It Tuesday – Issue 40

Hi underground visitors! Welcome to the 40th issue of TIT, or That’s It Tuesday! Every Tuesday, I, Versatile1, will give you a rant of whats going on in the blog, whats intended for the future, hope, dreams, etc.

Holy crap, is it issue 40 already? Last week I had an awesome time with fireworks.  Want to check out some? Go to http://www.youtube.com/versatileninja and see some of the footage that I got.

As promised, I have been keeping up with new information on Starcraft 2.  If you are itching for all Starcraft 2 gameplay videos since the dawn of time, look no further than the link below:

Most likely the game will not come out until early 09.  After all, there is much work that needs to be done.  The single player is only 1/3 done, along with all the various tweaks and fixes that is involved in balancing the sequel to what is the most influential RTS game of all time.  Can you believe that the original Starcraft came out in 1997?  Amazing.

Diablo 3 was announced recently, and no ETA date as to when that game is coming.  Some people are complaining that the new graphic style has a cartoonish look, but Blizzard says the game is more colorful and rich in color.  It helps enlighten the environment, whereas in Diablo 2, you were stuck in a dungeon and the colors were primarily dark.

As expected, new authors are not up to snuff. V1 has to always suck it up around here and compensate for others.  One of these days I’m going to go on vacation, and then this place will be a desert. ;p

On a total unrelated topic, I was talking to a friend last night to find him the trailer to what will become a badass game that is coming out for PC, Xbox, and PS3 later this year.  Game is called Mirror’s Edge.  Emphasis is on the environment, and less on the fighting.  In fact, the less weapons you have the faster you can move.   Makes sense, right?  Check out the official trailer below and be amazed.
