Demonoid Proxy – Canadians, Another Savior Has Come?
With the recent demise of Demonator, much of The Underground staff are still mourning over it. However, not to fear, another new comer has come to the plate to try to take the spot that Demonator once held.
As you all know, the CRIA (think of it as RIAA or MPAA but for Canada) has requested Demonoid to block all traffic to Canadian users. This is very frustrating, as I am sure there are many Canadians that love Demonoid.com
Demonoid Proxy is a new site on the block, its aim is to help you bypass the CRIA and let you visit Demonoid.com Whether it lets you login and everything, I could not test it. When you try to go to Demonoid.com, you get this blue proxy rectangle that hovers over the login, and you can’t get rid of it so you can type in your user name and password. If there is a way around this, please leave a message in the comments. If I can’t get past this, I wonder how the rest of Canadian torrent users will bypass this also.
Find it at www.demonoidproxy.com
[Update Oct 14th] I retried the site today, and I can verify that it now lets you login to Demonoid.com. If it does not work, then there is something wrong on your PC and I can’t help you. Nuff’ said. 🙂
RapidShare Premium Links
Edit: Oct 11, 2007 – Initial Post
Sept 7, 2009 – Added User Submission Section
Well, everyone uses rapidshare to download nice things.
But rapidshare is slow and unyielding unless you pay for a premium account.
This defeats the purpose of free downloads.
So, what is the bypass, the override, the underground method?
Well, you can get free ones, to be honest, but that requires work.
You can torrent, but thats not RapidShare. You could use other sites… or wait. But dude, whats up with that?
Well, there are RapidShare Premium Links to be used. All you have to do is go to one of the sites, type in the rapidshare link, and click download. The only downside is that they are public, so anyone can have access. Each link we will show you has a 25 gb daily limit, so if you happen to download a 5 kb file, then you have to wait for the next day, or use a different one. the 5kb file means that the daily limit has been reached.
So, here are the links:

As of October 9, 2007, the Demonator has been down. This was caused by no one other than, my Dad. As bad as this sounds, it’s true. If anything changes, you all will be the first to find out.
On a brighter note, I would like to tell you all that I am the newest member of the Underground. I will mostly be posting on Peer to Peer topics. But occasionally, I will post other topics. If you have any P2P tutorials you would like to see, please leave a comment and I will post it as soon as I can. As of now, here is my schedule for the near future:
–What is P2p file sharing, and what are the different types
–Legality of P2P file sharing
–How to use torrents and what are the top sites
This as far as I have gotten so far. I will post as often as I can, but this is my senior year in high school, so I’m pretty busy.
Mystery – What Happened to Demonator
Hi all, I just want to let you know that I have been keeping in touch with Justin, who is the creator of Demonator. If you don’t know, Demonator was a proxy site that let Canadians access Demonoid. Well, right now the website is down, and The Underground has exclusive information why it is down.
However, we feel that it is best for Justin himself to post the reason why it is down. The answer may surprise you. Expect clarification on the status of Demonator later throughout the day from Justin himself. Oh as a side note, Justin is the newest member of The Underground staff. His name will be Demonator. Go figure.
