On my youtube channel in the past, I had two videos that discussed how to get your Sony DS3 controller to connect to the PC. The first video focused solely on Motioninjoy, which is a program/driver package that installed the proper PS3 drivers so your controller can emulate the xbox 360 game controller on the PC.
Since then, I made a second video tutorial that used a combination of Motioninjoy and Better DS3 Tool. The idea behind that video is we use the drivers from Motioninjoy, but then we use the offline Better DS3 Tool so we can use our controller without having to be connected to the Internet.
For whatever reason, I still have viewers telling me they can’t get their DS3 controller to work properly on the PC.
Henceforth, I created what should now be the final PS3 controller tutorial using the SCP DS3 Drivers. The reason this method is awesome is because once all is said and done, the SCP Server runs as a service in Windows, which means that once you turn on your computer, this is always running in the background. No need to have a program running in the background. Just plug in your DS3 to the PC, or enable bluetooth on your controller, and you are ready to have a lot of good times.
See my video tutorial for more details, and check out the youtube page for all necessary links. Thanks!

Do you have an xbox 360 game controller (wired or wireless) and had issues connecting it to the PC? Well, worry no further because it is really easy to do.
I’ll break it down in a nutshell. Basically you install the drivers for the usb dongle. Then plug in the dongle into your computer. Press the button on the dongle so the light flashes. Now click the “guide” button on the middle of your controller so it turns on. Now press the little “connect” button on the top of the controller and your controller will be linked to the wireless dongle adapter!
Now go play your favorite Windows PC game that has native Xbox 360 game controller support and have a lot of good times. See video tutorial below for more information:

Watch Dogs for PC was recently released, and since it is strictly a 64 bit game for Windows, you are going to have to do some extra work to get your PC USB game controller or a PS2 type controller to work properly with Watch Dogs. The basic outline of how this works is below. The download links are in the video description of the Youtube Video tutorial.
- Download latest copy of x360ce.
- Download the x64 binaries.
- Extract x360ce into the Watch Dogs main directory. Run it and configure your controller.
- Now exit the program, and copy over the x64 binaries.
- Run the game, and your game controller should be recognized.

So as a gamer that loves old school games, I grew up with the NES and SNES console. I have fond memories playing SNES with my friends, and still to this day, I still play SNES occasionally.
But what do you do if you want to play SNES on the PC, but you want the authentic feel of the SNES controller? Well, guess what? You can connect the original SNES controller to the PC if you have the appropriate USB adapter to connect to it.
If you go to Amazon.com, you can purchase a Mayflash USB adapter that allows you to connect two SNES controllers to your PC (or laptop type device). Once you purchase the adapter and with shipping, it will be approximately $10 or so.
Once you have the adapter, all you got to do is literally plug your SNES controller into it, and then plug in the USB to the PC. Afterwards, go ahead and configure your SNES controller with our favorite emulator (or equivalent PC game) and have fun!
See the Amazon link below if you want to purchase it, as well as a video tutorial.
