9-8-10: Initial release.
Hey guys, so this past weekend a group of my friends had a chance to play Halo Reach. Wait, a second, the game comes out on September 14th?
Yes, that is correct, but yet our friends had it. How? Simple. They got a downloaded copy off of torrents and played it on the modded Xbox. I assure you, it is not BS. I was there and I saw them rushed the campaign on easy mode, which took them about 3.5 hours.
To make it even more funny, they skipped all the cut scenes trying to rush through the campaign. Don’t worry, I won’t put any spoilers here. If you are a halo fan, you will enjoy this game.
Now were my friends going to buy halo reach? Most likely not. They are cheap bastards, and they don’t even have an xbox live account!
Anyway, someone had the balls to upload the ending of the game online on youtube finally. I just watched it, and I can assure you it is indeed real because it is the same ending I experienced in person. Enjoy!
In order to address an issue with the Halo server, Bungie have released Patch 1.08. This also allows to run the game without a CD! The patch should auto-update next time you turn on the game, but more info can be found here if you’re having problems.
Alright, this is apparently the next new game from Ensemble Studios.
It looks amazing, let me tell you.
Here is a video:
Halo Wars is a real-time action strategy game for the Xbox 360 that allows the player to control large armies and to shrewdly direct them in realistic warfare. Set early in the iconic war between the Covenant and UNSC – made famous by the Halo FPS games – Halo Wars provides a new angle on the war while bringing new heroes to the battle.
The images below are renders of the units or buildings in-game. Mouse-over each image to see the original concept art. In the weeks and months ahead we will be updating the features page with more information and imagery.

Beat Halo 1 on Legendary mode? What you see is the Covenant and the human hugging…ah, so cute!
Here it is for your enjoyment!
Did you know there was supposed to be a Halo movie in the works? Well, guess what? It’s officially dead. According to Creativity Online, they talked to director Neill Blomkam on the issue, and this is what he had to say:
The film is entirely dead. In the configuration it was in. Whatever happens with that movie, assuming that movie gets made, will be a totally different configuration. It’s not so much me as the entire vessel sank. Basically, it was a combination of; there were two studios involved that weren’t getting along in the process of making it, Universal and Fox. That kind of stuff happens, it’s a fragile industry. So the film collapsed at the end of last year, and it’s been dead, ever since then. I’ll be curious to see what happens.
Well, that sort of sucks, considering he did do some Halo 3 live action promos which were so badass. Anyway, here are the video shorts he did below in the YouTube video. Pretty cool, shame it wasn’t a real movie.
I don’t link to games that often here on The Underground, but I came across this amazing halo 3 sticky grenade, and I just had to put a link up here.
Watch it and see, its short clip, and you will agree that is one amazing grenade throw. I would embed the video here, but the code doesn’t work for non-youtube videos. 😦
