Underground Newsletter – Still alive, different approach.

Real quick update here.  The Underground Newsletter is not dead. For those privileged enough to see the first two editions, I had done them in Adobe InDesign, and although it looks great, it required a LOT of time.

This past weekend I sent out a quick update to the Newletter subscribers via e-mail in text format talking about an underground topic that I needed help with. >_>  To those who know what I am talking about, please do not spill the beans here or I will ban you or even worse kill off the newsletter forever.

The reception was good, and I got to know a few of the subscribers really well.  Anyway, I expect another text newsletter to come out in late December or early January.  It will be a quick update on the current state of events in the Underground, some of my own underground views, and maybe some sick tips? (take it how you wish perverts)

Anything discussed in the newsletter is forbidden for talk here on the blog publicly as an incentive to get people subscribed.  To subscribe to the newsletter, look in the sidebar and sign up on the google form —->.

It is that easy!  Once again, thanks, and I will send out back issues upon request.

So far no one had requested it, which makes me believe you guys don’t care, which is fine to me but yet disappointing at the same time.  Such is life, right?

Two Months Later – Life After The Third WordPress Suspension

In the middle of May, our blog was suspended from WordPress, and it all boiled down to the fact that we had some questionable tutorials.  More specifically, I had a guide that showed users how to bypass Steam to play L4D on Garena and Hamachi.  Before the suspension, we got great hits on this site, about 5k views a month easily.  Now we are barely hitting 2K a month.  See below chart to see our history for the past couple months:

Because of the suspension, we took a nosedive for the month of May.  Two months later the stats speak for themselves.  How do we feel?  Well, I can’t speak for the authors, but I can at least speak for myself below.

It is sort of funny what happens when something you love was taken away from you, especially if it was nine long days.   Ever since we came back, I have had new ideas forming in my head.

First of all, my L4D guides have migrated to a different site.  Maybe you seen it? is the shortcut to see the site.  I expect in the future when L4D 2 comes, the site will be expanded to see that.

Second of all, more time was given to revamp the Sister site at   Here articles that are more questionable are put there. It is a friend’s server, so there is no real fear of having it violate a Terms of Service for example.

Thirdly, I’ve started to think differently in terms of how I write.  I have rewritten many PS2 tutorials for example not only to make them clearer, but I have also added a disclaimer to more of my educational tutorials.  We here want to help you learn, but we do not condone piracy or illegal activities.  Remember that.

Oh yes, and who could forget the birth of the Underground Newsletter?  Two newsletters are done, and already we have a sick idea to put into the third one!  We can’t wait to reveal it!

On the side, we  have also started the E-Book project.  So far it looks very good, and maybe over the course of weeks a few sneak peaks will be released?  We’ll see.

As you can see, life is not so bad after all.  I still have a huge community on youtube.  I and Voltaire have a twitter account to keep you guys posted in the case the blog goes down, and a lot of other miscellaneous projects going on.

If you want to become an author or want to submit an article, please do!  We are always looking for new blood.  Other than that, be on the lookout for the next bounce back tutorial since the L4D days. ;0

Newletter Issue 1

newsletter issue 1
Earlier this afternoon, I had sent out the first Underground newsletter. Unfortunately, someone had an incorrect email address entered into the database!

If you typed “”, please come back and type your new email address. For those who did not subscribe to the newsletter, well too bad. We are not going to upload them online for you to download. If you want to get the older issues, please subscribe, and then you can send an email to me for the back issues.

Note: The newsletter is Issue 1. I had accidentally named the file as “Issue_0”. Please disregard that error. To those who have read the newsletter, please leave your feedback here!

Underground Newsletter Preview

Above is the preview of the new banner (tentatively) for the newsletter that will be coming out sometime this month.   Actually, my goal is to have it out next week before Friday hopefully. The first issue will be 2 pages, with the first page going over some current day news, and then the second page to have some secret info?  Not sure what to do yet, but I”m sure in the end it will be nice!!!!

If you haven’t done so already, please sign up for the newsletter and once it is ready, I will have it emailed.

I am still debating as to whether or not I should post the newsletter online after it is published or not.   The only benefit I suppose is if you are on the newsletter is that you get it emailed to you, rather than you come here and download it.

If you think one way is better than another, or both are the same, please let me know.  Thanks!
